For those of you still wondering what this is all about. SlaXBMC is an attempt to simplify the setup of XBMC on a Slackware based Home Theater PC.
The full installation of SlaXBMC is less than 3.1 GB, provide a seamless XBMC setup and a Linux system capable of compiling (if needed) vanilla software (applications/Linux Kernel) from source.

Installations instructions for this release are available on the first two pages of paragraph 1.3. Make sure to:
  1. Select the CD/DVD installation in SOURCE MEDIA SELECTION screen unless you plan on using the USB pendrive installation method mentioned in paragraph 1.2 where you can skip the tagfile handling part.

  2. Accept all packages on PACKAGE SERIES SELECTION screen

  3. Select full install on SELECT PROMPTING MODE screen

  4. Proceed from this point on by accepting the default and obvious settings ;) (if for any reason you are stuck past this point use as reference the steps in paragraph 1.3)

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to select a strong password when asked to do so, but still memorable to you. The setup is performed as the system administrator so you have full control of your system.

NOTE: SlaXBMC does not contain/install the ATI (AMD) and/or NVidia proprietary drivers so you will have to download and install them yourself when you have SlaXBMC up and running.
Hint: The XBMC Exit menu button drop you to Desktop.
