1.3 Install Slackware using tagfiles

• In console mode again modify the system options so the linux kernel native NVidia video driver is not loaded automatically after reboot (it cause TV blanking without additional tweaking)

  root@slackware:~#joe /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf



• Use the arrow keys to navigate to the bottom of the joe text editor window where you need to append the following line

  blacklist nouveau

  Your final screen should be similar to the following
  


• Press Ctrl+K and then X to save the file and exit joe


• Restart the HTPC by issuing the reboot command in console

  root@slackware:~#reboot
